The Gridiron Club announces the launch of its new website at http://www.principia-college-football.org. Please bookmark this site in your browser and visit us often. The Gridiron Club

The Gridiron Club is a division of the Gold and Blue Club, a non-profit organization which promotes The Principia Athletics Program as a whole. We are a group of Principia College Alumni who either directly benefited or have an ongoing interest in the Principia College Football Program. We exist to promote the continuance of Principia College Football and the application of Christian Science in all aspects of the sport.

We will be setting up a membership program for our Gridiron Club members who would like to help us out in our efforts to support the football program at Principia College.

Methods for Communication

One of the primary functions of our organization is to provide a means of communication for our members to keep abreast of the latest news and information on our beloved football program. This website is part of our effort to do exactly that. Additionally, we will be providing the following means of keeping our members and the public at large up to date:

1.  The Gridiron Club Website – The first and most important communication tool is this very website. However, not only is this website to be used to keep our membership and the general public up-to-date on the Principia College Football Program, but it’s also a chance for our members who have experiences and testimonies to share about their time on the gridiron at Principia College, especially as it relates to the football program. We therefore invite you to share your stories with us. Many of us feel that we would not be the men we are today had it not been for our experience in this critically important program. We are sure you feel the same way, so please tell us about it!

2.  The Gridiron Club Newsletter - We will have a regular opt-in newsletter which will go out anytime there is updated news and information on our efforts, activities and/or progress toward the achievement of our goals.

3.  The Gridiron Club RSS Feed – One of the functions of our site is that it has two RSS feeds. One of them is for the content of the site, which means that your RSS Feed Reader (such a Google Reader) will be updated anytime there is a new post on the site. The other RSS feed is for comments, which means that anytime someone comments on any of the posts, your reader will be updated. If you have more questions on RSS Feeds, please search “RSS Feed” on your favorite search engine.
